A Flexible Middle School Schedule Starts Here

Your child may need a completely virtual schedule, or they may just need one class. With Launch, the option is yours.

Middle school students can enroll full time or per course. Most courses are offered asynchronously, but live options are available in core subjects. Full-time students typically take six or seven courses, depending on their schedule and needs.

What Students Can Build With Launch

Image

Core Middle School Courses

Students in grades 6–8 can take the foundational courses they need in English language arts, math, science, and social studies. These courses are designed to keep students moving forward academically while learning online.

Health, PE, and More

Middle school schedules can also include Health, Physical Education, a world language, and exploratory or elective-style options. This gives students room for a more complete school experience, not just the basics.

Support & Challenge

Launch also includes options for gifted learners, students with IEPs, and students who need acceleration or remediation.

Need More Real-Time Instruction?

For students who do better with more routine, direct teaching, and regular face-to-face connection, Launch Live options are available in middle school core subjects.

Launch Live middle school offerings include:

  • English Language Arts
  • Math
  • Science
  • Social Studies

Choose the Right Mix for Your Child

Not every student needs the same kind of schedule. Some need a strong core schedule with flexible pacing. Some need live instruction in key subjects. Some need room for electives, world language, or a support service that helps them succeed.

That’s the value of the Launch model at the middle school level: families can look at the student first, then build around their needs.
