How does Credit Recovery work?

Launch Credit Recovery courses allow students who have previously failed a course to retake it for credit. Our Credit Recovery courses are mastery-based, allowing students to show what they know and receive targeted content to learn key course standards.

Can students take AP or dual credit?

Yes, Launch has Advanced Placement courses available, as well as Dual Credit courses available through partnering Missouri universities.

Do students have live classes?

Launch offers live and asynchronous courses in core content areas, so students who wish to engage in real-time have that option.

How do families track progress?

Families keep on track with their child's progress with our Launch Parent Portal, a custom designed platform that shares their students grades, teacher information and much more!

What high school looks like with Launch

Each Launch High School student's schedule looks different, as it's designed around what works best for them! Common practice includes mixing the following components into the school day.

Daily check in and work timeWhether a student elects to enroll in live, scheduled classes or works on their own time, best practice includes logging in and working on assignments every day.

Support and tutoringLaunch teachers offer ongoing support with in-course messaging, and they also have live office hours every week. These office hours are announced on Mondays for students to plan time to check in and get help, if needed.

Flexible TimeThanks to Launch's flexible opportunties and the ability to take live or asynchronous classes, students have time to study, work, and follow their passions
