Launch Virtual Learning is a tuition-free online public school option through Springfield Public Schools. No matter where your child lives in Missouri, Launch provides flexible online learning, Missouri teachers, and personalized support to help your child succeed.

The enrollment process depends on your student's current school situation. Use the options below to find the right path and the next step for your family.

Choose the Enrollment Path That's Right for Your Child

My Child Lives Outside of Springfield

MOCAP Enrollment

Missouri families who live outside the Springfield Public Schools district may enroll tuition-free in Launch through the Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP).

What You Need to Register

  • Proof of Missouri residency
  • Required enrollment documents
  • Immunization records or waiver

My Child Already Attends an SPS School

SPS Transfer

If your child currently attends Springfield Public Schools and would like to learn full-time online through Launch, there's no need to complete a new registration.

What you Need to Transfer

  • Your child's name
  • Current SPS school
  • Your child's student ID number (if available)

My Child Lives in Springfield but Does Not Attend SPS

SPS Enrollment

If your child lives in Springfield but is not currently enrolled in an SPS school building, you may register for full-time virtual learning with Launch through Springfield Public Schools.

What You Need to Register

  • Required enrollment documents
  • Immunization records or waiver

If your child is enrolling through a Launch partner school district, you will work with their school counselor or Launch Liaison to get started. If your school district is not a Launch partner, reach out to the Launch Enrollment team.
